Sunderland fans are not impressed as the club announced yesterday Jonny Williams will be out for up to a month with another injury.
The Welsh midfielder joined the Black Cats on loan from Crystal Palace last summer, but has made just seven league starts this season due to injuries.
Williams was withdrawn from the 1-0 defeat at QPR in the first half, just a month after returning from a lengthy absence because of a dislocated shoulder.

The incident at the weekend has caused a tear in the 24 year-old’s quad, and will probably keep him out for around a month.
Williams’ stop-start season has been representative of the club’s season as a whole, although most fans would probably admit it’s been more stop than start.

The Welshman scored his first goal for Sunderland in last month’s 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough, but will now miss the club’s crucial relegation run-in. His injury problems are starting to infuriate fans, but they don’t exactly seem surprised.
